The Age UK Advice Line provides free information and advice 365 days a year, so there’s always someone to call for help with managing finances, arranging care, and getting support. We campaign for older people’s rights and tackle the inequalities too many face. And through our friendship services, we’re determined that every lonely older person has someone to talk to.

How our supporters helped Dorothy

The weekly phone calls that Dorothy now enjoys through the Age UK Telephone Friendship Service have helped her to feel more connected, and less worried about the future. “It takes a bit of anxiety away that you know somebody's caring; that there's somebody there.”
